What is barry cowsill?

Barry Cowsill was an American musician who was best known as a member of the popular 1960s family band, The Cowsills. Born on September 14, 1954 in Newport, Rhode Island, Barry played bass guitar and sang vocals for the band. The Cowsills achieved success with hits such as "The Rain, The Park, and Other Things" and "Hair."

After The Cowsills disbanded in the 1970s, Barry continued to pursue a career in music, playing with various bands and as a session musician. He struggled with substance abuse issues throughout his life, which ultimately contributed to his untimely death on January 28, 2005 at the age of 50. Barry Cowsill's legacy lives on through his music with The Cowsills and his contributions to the pop music scene of the 1960s.
